Celene and her Toothfairy

What I Bring
Here you’ll find a small collection of illustrations from Celene and her Tooth Fairy — a cute, dreamy roguelite card game where the protagonist faces her trauma with a little magical help.

While I’m not actively working on this project right now, these drawings reflect my passion for storytelling and character design.

Right now, I’m fully immersed in a larger, exciting game project (also showcased here!) — but I wanted to share this dreamier side of my work with you. (´。• ᵕ •。`)
About the Work
Every poster is a little stage: characters in motion, gestures full of story, colors that pull you in. I design with narrative in mind — not just how it looks, but how it feels. These pieces are drawn entirely by hand and built to catch eyes in big spaces. Whether it's theatre, film, or festivals: my posters don’t just promote — they perform. (๑˃ᴗ˂)ﻭ
Celene – The Dreamer
2024
This is Celene — or at least, the version of her that shows up in dreams.
Her card is always the first you hold, and it’s kind of special. She wears something like a pajama-magical-girl hybrid — soft and cozy, but with sparkly details that catch the light when she moves. Her hammer looks like a glowing star, big enough to protect, but cute enough to not feel scary. It's not about power in the usual way. It’s about softness that refuses to break.

I wanted her design to feel like safety and strength at the same time — like the version of yourself you wish you could be when things get overwhelming. She doesn’t wear armor, but she still fights. She still shows up.
Dreamscapes & Decks
2024
Here’s a little peek into what the game actually looks like.
The first screenshot shows the main setup during a dream battle — your cards are laid out below, the enemy above. (Normally Celene wouldn’t appear on both sides — this is just for the example!) Each card is kind of like a piece of her — emotions, thoughts, reactions — and you choose how to play through them, what to hold onto and what to let go of.

In the second image, a card window is open so you can see the full art and stats, and you get a better look at the UI. The Tooth Fairy floats up in the corner — she’s not just cute, she can cast spells that shift the game when things get too intense.

You’ll also notice Grape Gang hanging out in the inventory — a bunch of weird little grape guys that can join your team. They’re silly, but in a way that makes you smile.
